I am a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist and UKCP-registered psychotherapist, having my Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology from Sofia University (formerly Institute of Transpersonal Psychology) in California, USA in 1999.
I trained in EMDR in 2000 and became an EMDR Europe Accredited Consultant in 2006 – more info on my website – and have been a Training Facilitator in advanced EMDR with EMDR Focus since 2017.
I worked in the NHS in Brighton from 2000-2009 in the substance misuse service and then the trauma service, and have had a private practice in Brighton since 2000. I currently work privately and provide EMDR supervision & consultation to various NHS Trusts around the country.
I became interested and attended my first workshop in Attachment-Focused EMDR in 2013, again in 2015, and then went to New York in January 2016 to train with Laurel Parnell.
I specialise in working with trauma, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, and am also training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-focused approach to couples therapy based on the work of Sue Johnson.
