12 EMDR Europe AssociationCPD Points

Cost: £350 (includes VAT, training materials and full facilitation)

Workshop runs from 0900-1700.

This brand-new workshop is open to AF-EMDR colleagues who’ve already done either Laurel Parnell’s Advanced Clinical Workshop (3 days) or Mark Brayne’s 2-day Unleash your EMDR weekend….

Unleash Booklet Cover (2)

Responding to colleagues who want to refresh and deepen their Unleash experience, with new ideas and feedback on how they’re doing, we’ll explore in particular:

  • Intergenerational EMDR (working directly with parental and attachment introjects, and cultural, national, ethnic and religious trauma handed down from the past);
  • Attachment-informed case conceptualisation and target identification;
  • Working with Parts, and the Transfer of Consciousness;
  • AF-EMDR with dreams;
  • Session Structure and Creative Interweaves.
  • We might even get to EMDR with couples and remote EMDR online, though probably flying low over these rather than going seriously deep…
Unleash at the CCPE

The workshop structure draws its inspiration from Laurel Parnell’s Part 3 EMDR trainings in the US and the UK.

Each day will start with introduction from Mark and discussion of transpersonal EMDR’s principles, followed by a demonstration, further Q&A, and focused pairwork in the afternoon with feedback.

We meet at our exciting new workshop venue in the Radnor Hall of the Wesleyan Chapel in City Road, London, which describes itself (not that this event is in any way religious…) as the Mother Church of world Methodism.

It’s a lovely building, and while we’ll be providing only teas and coffees, and no lunch, there are plenty of excellent food outlets in the City Road neighbourhood.

Working with attachment in EMDR can be a very powerful emotional experience, both for the colleague practising in the therapist role, and for the colleague-as-client.

We work with real issues, so both as therapist and as client in the pairwork and triad sessions, we encourage you to be open to working at depth, and to in-the-moment feedback and support/coaching from our highly-experienced EMDR Focus facilitators.

That’s how we learn, so please be ready to be bold.

A reminder of the workshop fee, including handout, and, we hope, 12 EMDR Association CPD points (applied for):
