I’m Jordan, a CBT and EMDR therapist with over a decade of experience in mental health. My background as a mental health nurse and therapist in the NHS and MOD gave me the privilege of working with people facing complex challenges, and for the last few years I’ve been supporting clients in private practice.

I work in an attachment-informed way, as I’ve found this creates the deepest and most lasting results for clients. My practice has a particular focus on women’s mental health - including PMDD, pre- and postnatal experiences, and perimenopause - as well as the overwhelm that so often comes with perfectionism, burnout, and big life changes. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and empowering - not clinical or one-sided. My approach is gentle, transparent, and always tailored to the person in front of me.

Alongside helping clients process past trauma, I’m passionate about guiding people towards living in a way that feels authentic and sustainable - slowing down, simplifying, and finding confidence in who they truly are. Clients often tell me they feel seen, supported, and able to move forward with more clarity and ease.

    Hello!

I’m a certified EMDR therapist and Consultant, dedicated to helping you move beyond the lingering effects of trauma, anxiety, and distressing memories.

As an attachment-informed therapist, I integrate two well-established frameworks—attachment theory and the EMDR protocol—to explore how early relational patterns influence the way traumatic memories are stored, triggered, and processed.

I’ll guide you through a safe, structured, client-centred process designed to rewire how painful experiences are held in the brain. Whether you’re coping with past trauma, phobias, panic attacks, or the emotional fallout of stressful life events, my aim is to create a supportive space where you can regain control, reduce emotional intensity, and restore a sense of calm and confidence.

Each session is tailored to your unique history and goals, ensuring the therapeutic journey feels empowering and respectful of your pace. By integrating mindfulness, grounding techniques, and ongoing psychoeducation, I help you build lasting resilience and develop practical tools for everyday life.

If you’re ready to transform distress into growth and reclaim your narrative, let’s embark on this healing path together.

  • Caroline Logsdail

I trained at The Institute for Arts and Therapy in Education and gained an MA in Integrative Child Psychotherapy. I went on to complete a 12- month training in Jungian and Post-Jungian Sand Tray Therapy and Cultural Perspectives and a further training in EMDR with Mark Brayne.

The focus of my Arts Based Child Psychotherapy practice is on early therapeutic intervention with children and adolescents from the ages of 4-24 enabling them- and their families- to make sense of their world and to live the happiest and best lives they can. I pioneered a schools-based programme for parents called Parent Conversations, which offered practical solutions for everyday problems. I work closely with families to help strengthen the child-parent relationship and offer strategies to help with re-building communication and self-confidence.

Traumatic experiences can leave a child feeling unsafe or overwhelmed and it can be hard for them to put into words their thoughts and feelings. Using talk, play and the arts can help children discover for themselves a different perspective in respect to their problems. The child is not in therapy to be fixed and made better like a broken toy but can, by using their own verbal or non-verbal language, enhance both their physical and mental wellbeing. My work draws on therapeutic theories as well as common sense, play and humour.

I have three children, a granddaughter, and two dogs, Dante and Jazz, who offer warm support and unconditional love.

EMDR Qualifications: EMDR trained therapist with EMDRIA, attachment-informed EMDR

Other Qualifications: Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling

Hi, I'm Katharine Brayne, a registered EMDR Psychotherapist working online in the UK and internationally. I offer weekly, fortnightly and intensive therapy sessions for individuals and couples, helping clients explore long-standing patterns, current difficulties and future goals with warmth, clarity and compassion.

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing on EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), body-based interventions, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, parts work (including internal family systems) and attachment theory. I support mind, body and emotions with a polyvagal-informed lens, helping you feel safer in yourself and in the world.

EMDR forms the foundation of my work, and while it’s widely known for treating trauma and PTSD, it’s also powerful for a wide range of issues; from anxiety and low self-esteem to relationship challenges and behavioural patterns which no longer serve them.

Clients often come to me when they feel stuck, overwhelmed or aware that something in their life or relationships needs to change; even if they’re not yet sure what or how. I also work with those exploring deeper questions around identity, meaning, emotional resilience, or who feel affected by global uncertainty and personal or professional burnout.

Whether you’re looking to resolve trauma, strengthen self-awareness, shift old patterns, or find steadiness in the day-to-day, I offer a warm, collaborative and compassionate space to support your goals.

Therapy can be intense, but it can also be freeing, insightful and even infused with humour. I bring presence, curiosity and warmth to the therapy process, and aim to offer a space where you feel seen, safe and empowered, to not just to cope, but thrive, and to ultimately no longer 'need' therapy.

If you’re curious to see if we’re a good fit, I offer a free 30-minute call to explore what’s going on for you and how we might work together, and this can be booked either via email or via my website.

You may understand the root of your issues and still continue to experience symptoms like anxiety, frustration, lack of focus, or feeling stuck because stress or traumatic experiences have caused dysregulation of your nervous system.

That is why I combine different approaches including EMDR and IFS to reprocess traumatic and stressful experiences, Polyvagal to re-train the nervous system, Somatic to address memories stored in the body, and Gottman Couples therapy to heal your relationship.

I am a Clinical Psychologist and trained ai-EMDR therapist specialise in working with adults and couples navigating the impact of childhood trauma, relationship difficulties, and neurodivergence (Autism/ADHD). I am also a trained Emotionally Focused Couples therapist and training to become an EMDR Consultant.

I am passionate about working with attachment wounds, to help you build a healthier relationship with yourself and/or your partner.

Most of my clients are men and women struggling with something in their life and relationships: an infidelity, unhealthy cycles of conflict, expressing their feelings in a healthy way, feeling alone or unappreciated. Many are high performers who are faced with a trauma or loss who suddenly found themselves struggling to cope. Through our work, they have discovered the pain they had been carrying all along underneath the achievements, processed it and have transformed their lives into something different.

It is well-known in EMDR that our painful childhood wounds, our attachment experiences, are at the heart of our difficulties as adults, even if we don't see it. Struggles with self-esteem, managing our emotions, depression, anxiety, expressing our feelings in a healthy way... all our deepest yearnings and fears are driven by our earliest experiences.

I offer a safe, compassionate space to discover, heal and grow from our past to have a better future. Let’s work together to break free from old patterns and create meaningful and lasting change.

I am a GP, psychotherapist and EMDR practitioner based in Norfolk.

Since my initial therapy training, I have been fascinated by how neuroscience and behavioural biology have made a deeper understanding of human functioning and feeling possible. My body-oriented psychotherapy training developed my understanding of the powerful connection between the body’s energy and interactions, and the mind.

My research and experience in this area is something I bring to my EMDR practice. I take an attachment-informed approach to EMDR, which has a solid neurobiological foundation. We now have a detailed understanding of how the body and mind develop and function differently under conditions of safety versus threat. Humans interact very differently, depending on whether they have learned to do so in safe or in less than safe attachment.

Attachment-informed EMDR can change this pattern.

My medical training gives me a strong foundation in understanding the processes of the body and mind, and being a GP keeps me close to life’s realities. I bring this background knowledge, my empathy and an intuition that has been developed over years of training to my therapeutic work.

As a trauma psychologist, I help people transform by helping them to heal wounds from the past. These wounds can often be held in the nervous system but not explicitly remembered.

I work primarily with Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR and a Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP). I tailor my therapeutic approach according to what each individual wants to work on, integrating different approaches as appropriate.

As a counselling psychologist, as well as learning multiple psychotherapeutic approaches, my training was based on the importance of understanding an individual’s unique experience, and on how this can be explored in a therapeutic relationship. Although there are many things that shape who we are as individuals, it is, I believe, our relationships, both with ourselves and others, that often influence us most profoundly. By developing our awareness of these relationships, we can develop valuable and compassionate self-understanding. I support people to use this understanding to help them to find ways of improving the quality of their lives.

I have a wealth of experience working in organisations specialising in familial/domestic/sexual violence and abuse; cancer and life limiting health conditions; loss and complex bereavement.

I have come to appreciate that regardless of presentation, how we cope with what is happening in the present, is underpinned by how we have been affected by past adverse experiences or trauma. Even where we may not have a defined sense of a specific ‘issue or event’, many clients despite having achieved much success in an area of life, come to therapy troubled by a sense of ‘not being enough’, or feeling unlovable, an outsider, or unable to find meaning or connection or feel joy or peace within.

My experience in practice has strengthened my conviction that adverse experiences can provide the catalyst for us to heal and grow personally and spiritually. Once our innate healing potential has been liberated, our wounds become the portal to re-discovery and meaning and reconnection with our true essence, no matter the time we have nor the challenges we have endured.

As an integrative psychotherapist I work within a holistic framework, drawing from various wisdom traditions together with training from a range of trauma and body focused modalities including EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), somatic psychotherapy and creative approaches and am influenced too by story, the natural world, our interconnection and the joys and challenges gifted though my own history.

I am also very grateful to be one of the EMDR Focus facilitation team!

Hi, I started my EMDR training in 2007 but didn’t use it until I discovered Attachment-Informed EMDR when my transpersonal psychotherapy training and EMDR really came together in a way that has proved very effective for helping clients really make changes and live life well.

I have studied with Laurel Parnell, the originator of Attachment-Focused EMDR and with Mark Brayne who has brought his own ideas and enthusiasm to the Attachment work.

The Attachment work gave me the tools I needed to change the way I work and get my Accreditation as an EMDR Practitioner.

I now work in a trauma-informed way using Attachment-informed EMDR where necessary to shift early developmental trauma, as well as recent onset symptoms such as anxiety, depression, etc.

I am an Accredited Integrative psychotherapist and EMDR Practitioner and director of Benfleet Counselling and Psychotherapy Ltd.

Working as a therapist is not only a profession for me, it is also a passion, which the spark I found in helping people is continually fuelled by the belief that everyone deserves to live their best life.

Connecting with people and assisting on the journey which helps to uncover their real self is a process which I look forward to with all of my clients.

Negative behaviour is one of the foremost indications that people are suffering inside, and without judgement I collaborate with my clients to piece together the puzzles, so we can change this.

I completed Laurel Parnell’s Attachment Focussed Therapy workshop in 2017. I have also attended Mark Brayne’s Unleash the Magic’s Attachment Informed workshops which have helped to completely transform my practice.

I have also received training in pain control with Mark Grant and I am trained in R-TEP and G-TEP by Elan Shapiro.

In addition to this I have received training in The Feeling-State Addiction protocol with Robert Miller PhD and have learnt how to use the Flash Technique with Philip Manfield.

I remain committed to developing and expanding my knowledge through continually training. This ensures that I remain up to date with innovative therapy techniques, so that I can offer a service which tailors around ongoing developments in psychotherapy. As such, this enables me to deliver ground-breaking therapy which will have long lasting results on the lives of my clients.

Living with good mental health is fundamental to our wellbeing and can have an unprecedented impact on physical health, family life, work life, and relationships. Learning how to manage stress and anxiety, as well as processing trauma are crucial steps in moving towards the life that we want to live.

Drawing on various personal experiences enables me to offer a comforting level of empathy and understanding, which helps develop a trusting and safe environment for my clients. I believe that helping people to become more self-aware, nurtures life skills which they can carry through future difficult situations that they may find themselves in.

Life is a journey, it may take many attempts to get it right, but you can never stop learning and growing as a person. Helping clients process negative beliefs about themselves by turning them into positive ones is very rewarding.

Seeing progress from being depressed, anxious and fearful to being reinvigorated with a new zest for life is a reward greater than words can describe. I have learnt a great deal from the clients I have helped, whether they have been children, young people or adults.

During the lockdown I switched my therapy services to online. Online therapy has proven highly effective, and it gives clients the emotional support and help in a manner which was safe in this pandemic. Working online enables me to connect with people from all over the UK and, even throughout the world. I have found EMDR therapy to be very effective and powerful online.

I feel very privileged to have found a career as fulfilling and rewarding as this one, and that so many people let me help them with their journeys.

Relational/attachment/complex trauma is just that… complex – it can leave you feeling that something is wrong with you – you might be asking yourself ..’why are all relationships just so difficult?’ . If so I can help.

I am a trained AI-EMDR therapist and also EMDR Consultant who works with complex and relational trauma. I am also an HCPC registered Counselling and Occupational (organisational) Psychologist. AI-EMDR is my primary way of working with adults. I have also been trained in Inter-generational EMDR and use this quite often – this is very transformational work.

My clients and I (I have had AI-EMDR too) have found the experience to be sometimes difficult but also once the trauma makes sense through EMDR processing then everything becomes clearer and you find that you are less triggered by stuff from your past. This means that you can truly live your life in the present no longer tied to the past traumas. If you would like to work with me online please look at my website and contact me on my email stating that you were referred through here.

I look forward to working with you – you are not alone on your journey.

Hello I’m Sally -and I love my work!

I’m an Accredited EMDR Practitioner and an experienced trauma -informed Integrative Psychotherapist, and my style and focus is to support you in a warm, empathic and constructive way, so you get the most out of your sessions with me.

My specialist training, and personal style of AI- EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), is incredibly effective in helping you free yourself from emotional pain and complex struggles. This provides a springboard to live with more authenticity, freedom and self respect. In fact many of my clients feel they have ‘come alive’ which is wonderful to witness!

AI-EMDR can have a very profound outcome on your life as we both discover, make sense of, and heal the past which can be so triggering and painfully limiting in the present. The lovely thing is that because those changes come from within, they stay, and can be built on further.

IFS ( alongside AI- EMDR) is so helpful in identifying parts or aspects of the self that can get activated and allow awareness, growth and integration.

My experience both personally and professionally, is that this combined approach is incredibly transforming and life changing.

By now, you probably are aware of my belief and enthusiasm in this way of working ! If you would like to talk further, I offer a free 20 minute online consultation to ask me any questions, talk about your options, and to see if we are a good match.

I look forward to meeting you….

As a therapist working in the NHS, for Relate and in private practice I noticed that there was something I just couldn’t help my clients with. I could support people to change their relationships or their work and often that helps people in the here and now. Often they would make the changes and then say, “Armele, I’ve made these changes I want, but I still feel scared and unsettled. I don’t feel myself.”

Once I learned about how helpful EMDR could be I’d been feeling increasingly frustrated with having to refer some clients to other therapists to have EMDR therapy and so I decided to train in this technique, and it’s been so rewarding to work with people in this way. It feels like I’ve added the missing piece of the jigsaw

Hello, I’m Beverley (Bea for short) and I am an Accredited EMDR Practitioner, CBT Therapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse by background.

If you are looking for a structured, proactive, teamwork approach to therapy with clear therapy goals set from the outset, I may be the therapist for you. I offer short to medium term therapy usually up to 40 sessions (approx. 8 months duration) in any one block of treatment. As we go along, we’ll undertake regular reviews of how well the therapy is progressing for you.

I have expertise working with excessive worry which may take the form of obsessions and compulsions, generalised anxiety, or social anxiety for example. I particularly enjoy helping clients work within themselves and within their relationships to set healthy boundaries, drawing upon the latest neurobiology studies in this area.

My therapeutic style is warm whilst direct, creative, upbeat, and collaborative. In my work with clients, I seek to embody my values of honesty, curiosity, compassion, and assertiveness. I like to use metaphors, imagery, and analogies in my work with clients as this can make the concepts more understandable & bring therapy alive. I often say to clients, like the Nirvana song, ‘come as you are’ and I’ll meet you where you’re at.

I am very passionate about my work, have witnessed hundreds of clients make meaningful changes to their lives and greatly benefit from using emotional agility practices I’ve learnt in my own life. I am a firm believer in the concept of using these approaches ‘from the inside out’ so that I am the best therapist I can be & understand better what it’s like to be in a client’s shoes.

I have advanced EMDR training in Attachment-Informed Transpersonal EMDR, especially beneficial for healing relational trauma. It is not an understatement for me to say I have found this approach to be a ‘game changer’ in helping clients reach their therapy goals in an embodied, lasting way. I find this approach to be supportive, intuitive, client focused and ultimately about self-actualisation. My personal experience of having EMDR therapy has been deeply transformative, hence my passion for delivering it to others.

Do get in touch if you’d like to discuss further.

If you are reading this, you are likely facing internal obstacles between where you are and where you want to be. These hurdles often stem from implicit memories—emotional, physiological, and behavioral reactions that seem out of place in the present but were developed in response to past situations. EMDR is a powerful technique to help you move beyond these past influences and improve your current quality of life.

My goal is to enhance your life through effective therapy. I draw from extensive training and experience, tailoring EMDR to your unique needs and circumstances.
